Bug Report: Can't log in from profile page π
Steps to reproduce:
- Load site with sample data populated.
- Log in as sample / sosecret
- Click on a username (e.g. AS) in a bloom shown in the timeline
- Click logout
- Log in as sample / sosecret
Expect to see: A logged in view of AS’s profile, with a “Logout” button in the top-right.
Actually see: A 501 error page saying “Server does not support this operation.”

Bug Report: Hashtag link doesn't work correctly π Clone
Bug Report: Hashtag link doesn't work correctly π
When loading the populated data, the user Swiz’s second bloom (which reads “Let’s get some #SwizBiz love!!”) has weird hashtag links.
If you click the word “#SwizBiz” it takes you to an empty page which doesn’t show any blooms. I would expect at least the bloom I clicked the link in to be shown, and also perhaps any others containing the hashtag.
On the other hand, in their other bloom (“New album dropping at midnight! Pre-save now! #SwizBiz”), clicking on “#SwizBiz” does take you to exactly what I expect - a page showing blooms containing #SwizBiz including the one I clicked from.

New Feature: Rebloom π Clone
New Feature: Rebloom π
When a user sees a bloom they want to share, they want to be able to press a button to “re-bloom” the bloom.
This should add a bloom to their feed and should be shown to their followers (as if they’d bloomed it themselves), but but should make clear in the UI both who originally bloomed it, and who re-bloomed it. It should be obvious in the UI that this is different from a bloom they bloomed themself.
A bloom should also show how many times it has been re-bloomed (but maybe not show anything special if it’s never been re-bloomed).
I’m not sure what timestamp a rebloom should have/show. Maybe the original bloom time? Maybe the time of the rebloom? Maybe both? Unclear…

New Feature: Unfollow π Clone
New Feature: Unfollow π
Currently, a user can follow any user they want. But there’s no way to un-follow a user when they’ve been followed.
If a user isn’t interested in another user’s blooms any more, they should be able to un-follow them.

Practice a mock Behavioural Interview π Clone
Practice a mock Behavioural Interview π
You will need to discuss this in class, make sure to do your interview before the class day.
You will be applying for jobs soon! Part of that process is doing interviews.
Schedule a mock behavioural interview with a volunteer. You can ask for interviews on Slack in #cyf-interview-practice.
Tell the interviewer you want to practice a behavioural interview. Tell them the kind of job you want to be applying for (what kind of role, and what kind of company? Perhaps a software engineer at a finance company? Or a backend engineer at a start-up? Choose for yourself).
Do the mock interview, and get feedback about how you could do better next time.
